Hicks Carpet Cleaning was established by my uncle Graeme Hicks who has gone above and beyond to make it the success it is today; a very friendly, reliable and professional service.
I, like Graeme, started my career working in the engineering industry after completing a two-year course at Cornwall College Camborne gaining a double award A.V.C.E in engineering. I started working for a local Cornish company, Teagle Machinery, and stayed there for 10 years. After gaining lots of valuable knowledge and experience in a large industrial engineering environment, I decided it was time for me to move on to other industries and sectors to further develop my skills. I have worked in the marine engineering sector for 6 years on a lot of different mechanical systems ranging from small and large ship engines to industrial and marine power systems for the offshore industry where concentration, safety and attention to detail are of the utmost priority.
Graeme has invited me out on numerous jobs with him over the years and I have always thoroughly enjoyed assisting him. It is especially satisfying when customers tell you how happy and pleased they are with the quality of work and attention to detail having successfully brought their carpets back to life.
Customer satisfaction has always been my motivation!
